South Fayette Township has received four 2019 MarCom Awards for communications and marketing:
- Gold Award for Police Chief John Phoennik's blog "Chief's Corner"
- Gold Award, Government Magazine, for South Fayette Connect-Andrea Iglar, Executive Editor
- Honorable Mention, Community Day T-Shirt, Parks & Recreation Director Paula Willis and Northwood Printing owner Brad Bernas
- Honorable Mention, Magazine Writing, South Fayette Connect
The international awards program receives about 6,000 entries a year. Organized by the AMCP (Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals), the program honors excellence in creative marketing and communication.
