West Penn Power Transmission Vegetation Management is conducting aerial herbicide applications in the South Fayette area from June 8 to Aug. 15, weather permitting.
The helicopter is a white and red Bell 206, tail number N2193X (see photo).
Industrial Helicopters, LLC is the company performing the work. The helicopter will be flying above or alongside transmission lines and may circle around for a closer inspection.
