Finance
The Finance Department coordinates financial operations in conjunction with the Township Manager. Finance duties include audits, accounts payable, billing, banking and financial reporting, as well as employee payroll and the administration of benefits and pensions.
Note: Financial reports, bill payments, bank balances, contracts and other financial documents routinely are included on the Board of Commissioners meeting agendas.
2024 Draft Budget
South Fayette Township is proposing a $16,956,211 general fund budget for 2024 with no tax increase. Review the preliminary draft budget (PDF). Budget consideration and adoption is scheduled for the Dec. 13, 2023, meeting of the Board of Commissioners. Please direct any questions to Township Manager John M. Barrett.

ACH Electronic Payment Option
Tax Collection
The Finance Department does not handle tax collection.
- South Fayette's elected tax collector accepts payment of Real Estate Taxes (property taxes) for both South Fayette Township and the South Fayette Township School District.
- Jordan Tax Service collects Earned Income Taxes (EIT) and the Local Services Tax (LST).
